Prior to hiring a staff member the following will take place:
An interview, BCI Check, Abuser and Nursing Aide registry, proof needs to be provided of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, as well as have positive employment references.
Within the first 30 days of employment the staff will go through an extensive orientation, receive training with the consumers in which they will be working with, receive classes on Introduction To Developmental Disabilities and Dual Diagnosis, become CPR/First Aid certified if they are not already, will be certified to pass medication and become CPI certified.
